Habitat homes are simple, decent but well-built homes that are usually about 1,050 to 1,200 sq ft.  Most are three-bedroom homes but our new homes can be built to meet the needs of larger partner families.  All of our homes meet the same building code requirements for any home built in the local area.

In addition to building new homes, we also renovate existing homes if this can be done while keeping these homes affordable for our families.  

All of the costs of building or renovating our homes are included in homeowners' mortgages.  Through their no interest mortgage payments, our partner families not only pay us for the cost of their home but help us build more homes for more families.
