Donated Building Materials Help Those in Need Twice

The Habitat For Humanity of Wicomico County ReStore needs your donations.........of almost any items you take out of your home. Especially needed are doors, windows, cabinets (kitchen or other) and working appliances ( 10 years or less). But any building or remodeling material that's in good shape can be recycled through the ReStore, saving you tipping fees and providing a tax deduction as well. Equally important, your donations will go back into the community to help people who are upgrading their homes. The ReStore resells your new or gently-used items at deep discounts off retail prices.

In it's first full year, our ReStore has diverted an estimated 450 tons of material from local landfills and contributed $20,000 in operating profits to our building program.  So, when you tackle that next building project or remodeling job, think Habitat, think green.

Volunteers are needed to help in the ReStore and to assist with pickup of donated materials.

Our ReStore provides donation pick up services within a limited area when scheduled in advance. Please call our ReStore to schedule a pick up of your donated items.
