9th Annual Chefs for Habitat - Gourmet Gala 2019

Salisbury, MD – Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County and its honorary chairs, Chris and Chrissy Perdue will be hosting the annual Chefs for Habitat Gala on February 23, 2019 at the Southern Belle Barn located at 31239 East Line Road, Delmar, MD. The event will begin at 5:30p.m. with a champagne greeting, cocktail hour, followed by appetizers, entrées and desserts  from 12 local chefs from the area’s favorite restaurants and catering companies. These chefs will be showcasing their talents throughout the night. A silent and live auction will complete the event. Tickets are $75 per person and available for purchase at www.chefsforhabitat.com or in person at the Habitat ReStore in Salisbury. All proceeds benefit the affordable homeownership program at Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County.

A lively competition from “Celebrity Sous Chefs” will round out the night. These celebrities are enthusiastic movers and shakers of the community who share Habitat’s values and have a competitive spirit. The weeks leading up to the event, they will be raising money via www.chefsforhabitat.com. Habitat is pleased to announce the 2019 Celebrity Sous Chefs: Matt Powell, Alexis Roskovich, Vira Ogburn, James “Bo” McAllister, Merry Mears, Sonya Whited, Justina Cornell, Larissa Luck, Aaron Guy, Caroline Presburg, and Jake Meadows. The winners of this two-part competition will be named on the night of the gala.
